Our Story
Sea Foods Enterprises Limited commenced operations on June 1st, 1993 and is therefore well established as a reputable player in the seafood industry.
The company owns and operates its own processing plant and cold storage facility, which is located at 12 & 13 Frederick Settlement, Caroni, Trinidad and Tobago. At the processing plant, we process and package fresh and frozen seafood for both international and local clients.
We are a HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) compliant company, ensuring all products are processed under the strictest quality control procedures, which allows us to continuously export to international markets. In August 2020, Sea Foods Enterprises Limited procured its own docking facilities located in Chaguaramas, Trinidad & Tobago to package fresh fish for export. We are also an OSHA compliant organization, as we are dedicated to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Whilst the company’s main activity is the export of fresh fish and frozen seafood to markets in the United States of America, Canada, and the Caribbean; Sea Foods Enterprises Limited also supplies the local market (both wholesale and retail) and has seven (7) gourmet retail stores strategically located across Trinidad. In October 2024, the company also launched its mobile van sales initiative to broaden its reach to the local wholesale market in both Trinidad and Tobago.
Sea Foods Enterprises Limited supplies the local market and Caribbean with both fresh and frozen products branded as Ocean Gems, as well as a wide variety of sushi products and gourmet items.
Our wholesale customers include the major hotels within Trinidad, supermarkets, many popular local restaurants and most sushi restaurants, as well as the major Caribbean airline caterer.
